How did Elite 25 Begin?
Stewart Title of Albuquerque initiated an organization
of top producing real estate agents.
What is the
selection process for Elite 25 members?
Membership eligibility
is based on home sales in El Paso County. The initial
criteria is set by the Elite 25 host--Stewart Title of
Colorado. In order to keep the group at a manageable level,
the sponsors choose agents that have sold a set number
of high-dollar homes beginning at a set dollar amount. For example, in 2002, agents that sold three
homes at $470,000 or more qualified. The qualifying criteria changes from year to year
and is based on the volume of high-end home sales. Once
the statistics are gathered, each qualifying member
receives a letter from Stewart Title in mid-March
informing them of their qualifying status. The letter
contains the details of membership and an invitation to
our New Members Kick-off meeting, which takes place in
April.
Why does the
Elite 25 year begin in April and end in March?
Elite 25 memberships
are based on the past year's performance. The period
between February and March allows sufficient time for
the Elite 25 sponsors to gather the initial qualifying
criteria and allows time for potential members to gather
their documentation for submission.
How does Elite
25 advertise?
Elite 25 members are
featured in Homes For Sale Magazine, the Colorado
Springs Business Journal and Colorado Springs Style.
The members also have banner ads linked to this website
on www.Gazette.com
and
www.ColoradoSprings.com . The cost of all advertising is
determined on the number of members and is solely
funded by members. Other possible venues for
group advertising will be offered by Elite 25 sponsors and
voted on by all members.
How do Special Events work?
Special events consist of the annual Elite 25 Kickoff
Celebration and two annual Homes Tours. The
tours take place in July and September and are held through
a full weekend or more. The Home Tour is advertised to the public, which
allows for maximum exposure of the Elite 25 member’s
listings. Elite 25 members fund all tour advertising and
promotional items.
