Background
Bobbi was born in Beverly Hills, California, into a family of successful journalists. But, instead of following in her family’s literary footsteps, she chose another direction and started her sales career at age 21 by becoming a theatrical agent for child actors in Hollywood. Directing the careers of her own 4 children quickly blossomed into more than a full-time second job for Bobbi, as she managed their modeling appointments, commercials, TV series, and movie schedules.
When her children eventually outgrew their acting careers, Bobbi gladly changed gears again. This time she entered the field of health and nutrition, managing a sales force of over 250 people, in addition to lecturing throughout the state, creating marketing plans, and establishing training materials and product literature. Through this process, Bobbi learned that the key to providing excellent service was knowing how to understand and anticipate her customer’s needs, as well as, having a thorough knowledge of her product.
As a single parent with four children to support, Bobbi shocked her friends and business associates by packing up and moving to Colorado Springs in 1977. "Everyone thought I was crazy. My business was doing well and my home was almost paid for, but I knew it was time for a change. I knew Colorado Springs was where I needed to be."
With a vision of success and the drive to make it happen, Bobbi immediately acquired her real estate license. True to form, she soon began to excel in this challenging new field through a firm commitment to going "above and beyond."
"Real estate is a people business, and homes are just the by-product," says Bobbi. She believes that a true Realtor® is a professional, not unlike a doctor, lawyer, or any other trained professional. "I handle the largest single investment most people ever make. That’s a huge responsibility that can’t be taken lightly! I am constantly updating my education so that my business is always conducted in the best, state-of-the-art manner."
In addition to maintaining the highest professional and ethical standards, Bobbi also finds tremendous enjoyment in her work. "I love the challenge and diversity of this field. I take what I do for a living and make it fun and exciting for myself and hopefully my clients. Every transaction is an adventure and every day I learn something new and meet another new fascinating person."
Delivering results is simply "business as usual" for Bobbi. She’s a no-nonsense professional whose career has never taken a downturn in the 32 years she’s been in business. Now in her late 60s, Bobbi’s energy is as high as it’s ever been. She still donates 70 to 80 hours of her week to her job. She has personally raised 4 children and 2 granddaughters and has a total of 7 grandchildren.
Her business continues to thrive and is now a “family operation”. Her daughter Lori has been her office manager and contract coordinator for 18 years and her granddaughter Jade also works for her as her Advertising Coordinator. Amy is a close personal friend and is her personal assistant and has 20 years experience in Real Estate.
